We left the WalMart parking lot at 9:30 am (ET).
There was some beautiful scenery once we got past the black cloud we were under. There were beautiful white clouds and blue sky that we had not seen in a couple of days.
We stopped twice at rest stops... the second we ate our dinner at.
We arrived at Ft. Stockton RV Park in Ft. Stockton Texas at 3:00 pm. A nice campground. The roads and sites are paved with tar/gravel. We are in site 19.
There are trees and lots of birds here. Of course it became overcast not long after we arrived. When there are birds around... it just seems the weather is not going to cooperate with me.
The rest of the day was just rest.
We traveled 246 miles today.
