There was a 40% chance of rain today. The rain awakened me at 2:30 am (CT) pouring down hard. It continued that way most of the day. The Medina River spilled over into the park. It had us worried that it might come up into the campground area... and there would be an evacuation.

A 40% chance of rain in Georgia means more than likely no rain will drop upon you. In Texas it means a deluge :-))

We had intended to go see the Alamo. The rain stopped in the afternoon, but we were concerned about the rising waters. Many people visited the park taking pictures of the Medina River.
